Unbreakable Thread

I don't know you
But you know me
And somehow we fell in love
I knew the moment I read your letter
That you were an angel sent from above

But before we could meet
You disappeared
And left me behind with more than one tear

We were both caught
By Unbreakable Thread,
Thread only you and I could break,

Being with you was my greatest desire
You were the one who built the fire,
The flames were the light I decided to
Follow,
When my chest was filled with more than just
Sorrow,

Caught by Unbreakable Thread,
Thread only you and I can break,

Why did you have to leave?
It wasn't your time
Sometimes I think you were make-believe
Just another nursery rhyme

I know we had a story,
A once upon a time,
I know you are just a memory,
That I will forget all in good time,

But...
Somehow...
We're still...
Caught by Unbreakable Thread
Thread that even after death
Still doesn't break
Thread that I know is probably fake

But its still Unbreakable Thread
Thread that only you and I could break

The Story Behind "Truth or Dare"

The poem/song titled Truth or Dare is something my best friend wrote a while ago. I decided to post it because I found it recently and remembered how we laughed our butts off when we read it.
Well at least I laughed. Heh heh.... um... anyways it was funny. She and I were planning on making a book called Truth or Dare kind of related to the show Friends. But we never got around to it.
There are eight friends, and one of them loves playing Truth or Dare. There's a lot of drama and romance in it. But then one of the girl's die and everything sorta goes down hill.
I love the ending though. We wanted to end it funny. So, we decided that the friends should streak on the first year anniversary of the girls death. We wanted that to happen because she had dared them to streak before her death and they never had the guts to.
It's really good. But like I said we never really got to writing it. (If Roxan is reading this, PLZ don't kill me for putting up this song. Don't blame me! Well... maybe you can blame me but not in the bad way, lol!! =P)

Truth or Dare

When you fly with a balloon,
and you come back with a spoon
you gonna be alright,
you're now scared of the height
when a butt is your art,
you're crazy its not smart
to be w/ u
truth or dare
.................
truth or dare
.................
I don't care
.................
this is the best nightmare
................
its only you that I'll need
8 of us, we agree
all our names on a tree
and all our pee

every moment its a dare
every moment that we share
every guy that's a square
cant compare
truth or dare
................
truth or dare
...............
getting chased by a bear
in your underwear
we were screwed up by the start,
and that's not the best part

if you got too much pride
tonight you're sleeping outside
if you got too much too care
if you see us beware

if you torment a raccoon
and your friends run soon
it might make a disaster
just run faster

if your swimming in a canoe
and u lose your shoe
use my advise
be precise

if you wake up in a store
if you wake on the floor
wondering what we've done
to us its only fun

Friends Forever... How long is Forever, again?

My friend, Sarah (she has forbidden me to use her last name) wanted me to write about her today. So, well what can I say about her? She's short, has super long dark brown hair. She wears glasses and has braces. She is Chinese and has a younger sister who totally adores me.
Sarah and I met in the 7th grade in Mr.Wagoner's Pre-Algebra class. Of course then, we didn't really get to know each other. No!! We started hanging out more at the beginning of our Freshman year. (Yes, our freshman year is almost over. In about 18 days to be exact!)
She's pretty cool, but she and I don't have much in common and yet we're still friends. How does that work? I'm pretty sure many of you reading this have a friend like Sarah. She can be very evil when she wants. I swear, even though I know she can beat me up; despite her height, I still make fun of her.
I don't know why, it's just funny. (no offense Sarah). Her mom is really cool though. And they have a lot of dogs. Her mom speaks a little Spanish so sometimes we speak in my first language. It's fun looking at Sarah's confused face.
On Halloween last year, we hung out and gave out candy to kids around her block. So, yeah Sarah and I get along pretty good. Except for some random moment when I love to mess with her. Sometimes when we get out of school early, we hang out at the China Cafe. Our permanent hang out place thing. So, I ask myself again: How long is forever? Gee... I don't know, hopefully it's not for more than four years. That's when we graduate from high school.

The Beach

*SIGH* Because I live in Nebraska, I can't really go to the beach. I mean, lakes are good and stuff but nothing compares to actually going to a beach in California when its hot.
I loved digging my feet in the cool sand beneath the hot one. I loved it when the waves would crash into me and I'd follow them as far as I would dare.
I loved it when we buried one anothers bodies in the sand so only our heads were visible.
The "We" I'm referring to is my family. The beach is the one place I would love to run to right now. Its hot outside and its only gonna start getting hotter.
I just wish that I could see a sunset like this at a beach. If you're looking for a place to relax, go to the beach. If you're looking for a place to hang out with your friends and family, go to the beach. Its one of those once in a life-time chances to see the beach. The last time I saw the beach was when I went to California for a visit to my grandma. My best friend there wanted to take me to an aquarium. She and two other friends of hers walked along the side of the lighthouse and saw the shore. I don't really think it was a beach, but it was sooo close to it. And if it was the beach then, I was glad I was there with my friends. Going to the beach is something everyone should get to do ATLEAST once in their lifetime. It is truly amazing.

Parents Have To Know

It's a parents job to know what their child is doing. Today, my History teacher talked about the anniversary of the Colombine High School Shooting. He said that the parents of Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold should have known what they were up to.
Many suspected what they were up to but no one said a single word. That's why when my History teacher talked about this I was thinking, "Who the heck are these guys parents?". I don't want to be mean or anything but I think the parents are partially responsible for the shooting that happened.
I mean, c'mon, what were the parents doing? Were they lazing off and didn't give a crap about the lives that their OWN children took? Did they not care what their child was doing? I surely can't understand since my mom and dad have always been strict with me.
My mom used to go through my backpack when I was in Elementary school. If she found something that she knew wasn't mine, she would toss it. I'd later have to explain to my friend's that my mom threw away their pencil sharpener or eraser.
Parents are supposed to know every single little detail that happens in their child's lives. I don't mean that they have to breathe down their necks. That's just plain creepy. What I mean is that a parent has to always ask questions and I know a parents last wish is to seem uncool but knowing what's going on in a kids life is not uncool.
So, the topic about the anniversary of the Columbine High School shooting seriously got me thinking about what the heck goes on in a parent's mind? And surely, they have to have a class on parenting because obviously the parents of Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold failed that class. (No offense)!!!

Fallen Angels

I got thinking the other day, "What happens to fallen Angels?" Some people say that they go to Earth as humans.
Is that true? I don't know, but I know they won't tell you if they meet you. Many say that men are angels. There has never really been a girl Angel.
And yet, artists draw woman Angels. The fact that only one gender can be an Angel shows how sexist some people are.
Of course, in the bible it says that there are only men Angels. I am not the kind of person that wants to go against the word of the bible, but woman Angels look so much prettier.
Men as angels, well, it shows how Hot they look guarding or protecting something or someone. Fallen Angels, like Lucifer, don't protect but destroy.
I saw a movie while I was babysitting, I totally forgot the name so don't ask, but there was a girl that believed in everything that was in the bible.
She did so many things to make sure she stayed sinless. But she tried so hard that Lucifer appeared to her saying that she was far worse than he. The girl later got baptized and she decided to go back to the river that the Father used to dump her head in. She drowned herself and the movie ended. So, because Lucifer appeared to her, she felt like she sinned and ended her life in an accident. The sad thing is she tried too hard. That movie reminded me that we can't try too hard to be something we're not. But if she were an Angel in heaven, she would have for sure fallen. So, I thought of all THIS after only one thought, "What happens to Fallen Angels?" The answer to that, I think, is that they try to make others fall along with them.

Opposites Do Not Attract! Right?

Well, i don't know if they do or don't. I'm doing a play for showcase about opposites attracting. Its a romantic comedy. I'm partnered with three other girls. The play, unfortunately, requires two girls and two guys. OH CRAP!! Ha ha ha. So, two of the girls, not me, decided to play the two guys. The sad part is they either are falling in love with one of the girls or are liked by one of the girls.
How this is related to the opposites attracting thing? Well, my character, Sylvie, has a cheerleader-type-you-don't-know-me attitude.(No offense to those of you reading this that are cheerleaders). The other characters are Spence, a gay guy or atleast everyone assumes he's gay; Faber(We don't get the name, so good luck sounding it out), he's a white guy who thinks he's black; and last but not least Miranda, a nerdy girl.
So, Sylvie, me, tells Miranda that she likes Faber and finally she admits it. Clueless Faber doesn't figure it out. Sylvie tries to get them alone and has to get rid of Spence. While being attacked, Spence falls in love with Sylvie. Awww....
The cute part is we're all girls! That fact alone doesn't matter in drama because genders don't really matter. YAY US! (That was sarcasm).
It's very unlikely for opposites to attract because then they would fight... ALL THE TIME!! They'd fight about everything like....
"Hey honey, do you prefer the white curtains or the pink ones?"
"White!"
"What? Why?"
"Pink is too... well, not manly,"
"Not manly!"
"Yeah!"
"Well, I'm putting the pink ones up!"
"What?!"
Anyway, you all should get what I'm saying. Those who have things in common will get along just fine, but I think it would be annoying if the person you like ALWAYS agrees with you about everything.
I think people should have their own opinions about everything. No one is perfect and Opposites do not attract.
